Experience the very best of Thailand and Laos on this new 14-day journey, a combination of our ‘Taste of Thailand’ and ‘Laos Experience’ journeys. From the bright lights of Bangkok to the faded French-colonial charm of Vientiane, we travel by bus, plane, boat and tuk tuk to give you a real insight into this enchanting region. Stay overnight in a jungle resort on the banks of the River Kwai, embark on a fascinating walking tour of Chiang Mai, and travel down the Mekong by slow boat to beautiful Luang Prabang. Here we will visit a pristine waterfall and beautiful monasteries, and meet some of the locals at a riverside game of petanque.

Trip grading: MODERATE Suitable for travelers with an average level of fitness and independent mobility. Prepare for some long road and boat journeys, plenty of walking and you may need to carry your bags from time to time.

What's included: 13 nights hotel accommodation (1 night basic), flights as specified, all road transport by airconditioned vehicles, all sightseeing as specified (excluding entrance fees), Western tour leader (7 or more travelers) and local English-speaking guides throughout, arrival and departure transfers, breakfast daily, 3 lunches and 2 dinners.
