DAYS 1-2: DELHI
On arrival in India’s vibrant capital, transfer to your hotel. Meet your tour leader and the other families you will share your upcoming adventure with then embark on an exploration of the city. Visit the largest mosque in India, and then ride a rickshaw through the color and chaos of Old Delhi’s trading streets before visiting a vibrant Sikh temple. Enjoy free time to wander bustling Connaught Place.

DAY 3: AGRA
Agra is home to one of the world’s most beautiful and iconic monuments - the Taj Mahal. Visit the vast Agra Fort, and see craftsmen in action at a marble inlay workshop. Rise early to witness the breathtaking sight of the sun’s first rays falling on the Taj, a vision you will never forget.

DAYS 4-5: JAIPUR
Known as the Pink City for its brightly colored buildings, get to know Jaipur’s favorite sights. See the stunning facade of the Palace of Winds and venture out to the nearby Amber Fort, sitting proudly atop a mountain in the midst of dramatic desert landscapes. Hunt for a bargain in your free time as you roam the local markets, full of carpets, prints and jewelry.

DAYS 6-7: SAMODE
Get off the beaten track in the atmospheric Rajasthani village of Samode and spend the night in historic tented accommodation in a former royal garden. A jeep safari takes you into traditional farmlands and a walk in Samode’s fairytale palace. Walk through the countryside with an elephant and its mahout, taking village paths and visiting a local school, and then spend some time playing cricket with the locals or relaxing in the gardens.

DAYS 8-10: RANTHAMBORE NATIONAL PARK
Depart by road for Sawaii Madhopur and your accommodation on the border of Ranthambore National Park. The next morning, enter the park for the first of your two safaris in this spectacular park. Ranthambore is a rugged world of arid hills, ancient fortifications and valley lakes where wildlife seeks refuge and can be seen in impressive numbers and variety. While the much sought-after prize of any trip here is the Royal Bengal Tiger, there is so much more on offer such with herds of sambar and chital deer, huge crocodiles, jackal and hyena, Sloth Bears, leopards, monkeys and a fantastic diversity of colorful birdlife. This is an experience of natural India’s beauty and majesty. On your last day, enjoy free time before your departure transfer.
