Hit the open road on two wheels with a cycling adventure through Asia. Take time to experience the sights and sounds around you and experience the wonders and cultural highlights that traveling through the winding back-roads and country laneways by bicycle brings. We can put together an itinerary that caters for any level of cyclist, so whether your group are experienced or just recreational cyclists, we will work with you to design a bike tour that suits your needs. Laos cycling tour - 21 days (15 travelers)

Cycling through Laos reveals a landscape dominated by mountains, pristine rainforest and the meandering waters of the Mekong. Traveling by bike gives you plenty of opportunity to meet the laid-back locals.

DAYS 1-2: BANGKOK & CHIANG RAI
Fly to Bangkok and enjoy some free time to relax or explore the neighborhood surrounding your hotel before joining your group for a delicious Thai feast. The next morning, fly to Chiang Rai in Northern Thailand. Soak up the local culture with visits to some local hilltribes and a visit to the Golden Triangle, where Thailand, Burma and Laos meet.

DAYS 3-5: MEKONG RIVER & HILLTRIBE VILLAGES
Transfer to the Thai-Lao border and take a slow boat down the Mekong to Pakbeng, where you will stay the night. From here, explore the surrounding areas by bus and bike, visiting colorful hilltribe villages and cycling among beautiful mountainous landscapes.

DAYS 6-8: LUANG PRABANG
A slow boat down the Nam Ou River brings you to Luang Prabang. Visit outlying villages, local wats and Kuang Si Waterfall by bicycle, also taking the time to learn about silk weaving techniques at a not-for-profit weaving center. You'll also have the chance to enjoy a cooking class and join the locals for a game of petanque.

DAYS 9-10: PLAIN OF JARS
Drive through stunning scenery to Phonsavanh. From here visit the fascinating Plain of Jars and cycle to local hilltribe villages and waterfalls.

DAYS 11-12: VIENTIANE
Fly to Laos' capital and enjoy two days exploring the city's sights including Wat Sisaket and the Patuxai monument. Cycle to the interactive COPE center, an organization dedicated to providing prosthetic limbs to Laotian people, and Buddha Park.

DAYS 13-16: SOUTHERN LAOS
Fly to Pakse where and begin your Southern Laos cycling adventure. Visit waterfalls and coffee plantations, Wat Phou and Don Khong Island, the largest of the 4,000 Islands. Soak up the relaxing surrounds on ferry and bullock cart rides, keep an eye out for the elusive Irrawaddy dolphin on a boat cruise and meet friendly locals as you cycle the rural backroads of this charming region before returning to Pakse for a flight to Bangkok.

DAYS 17-20: BANGKOK & SURROUNDS
Visit the beautiful Kanchanaburi area, home to the infamous Bridge on the River Kwai, learning more about its historical significance in a local museum. Enjoy a few days at leisure to enjoy all Bangkok has on offer before transferring to the airport for your flight home.
