Begin your vacation in Thailand's capital city, Bangkok, one of the most exciting destinations in the world. Head to Kanchanaburi and the River Kwai area to get aquainted with Thailands wartime past. Spend some time in Ayuthaya, Thailand's ancient capital. The temple ruins in Sukhothai are testament to the artisans of the past, while the famed Golden Triangle is an exceptional trip from nearby Chang Rai. A Thai hilltribe adventure awaits before you reach the culmination of your vacation in the northern city of Chiang Mai, in the heart of the Lanna Kingdom.
