We had a wonderful trip - the guides and support crew were fantastic, itinery well planned, and to our surprise there were only 4 of us on the trip.

The cycling was great, bikes good and well maintained, and cycling through villages and rice paddies were some of my highlights- my only negative comment was that some of the hotels were tired and worn, with mouldy bathrooms (these were the single night stays). The hotels that we stayed in for multiple nights were really good and all were well located.

Also the train ride on reunification express was very basic and not very comfortable - perhaps could be given the option of paying a bit extra and flying from Hanoi to Hue. I was also quite sick on the day following the train ride so think I must have picked up a viral bug on the train, which reinforced my negative feelings about the train ride.

We will be back with travelindochina in a year or 2 to plan our next trip.

Dear Georgina,

Everything went as near perfect as possible. Both yourself and your predecessor, Hannah Baker, dealt with our questions promptly.

The bike support and the provision of water was beyond our expectations. The coach driver, Hue, was exception in dealing with very taxing driving conditions. Similarly, in Cambodia, our guide, Mr. Bun, was full of information and spoke good English. The driver, Makara, was very careful, which allowed us to relax after the hectic driving conditions in Vietnam.

We had 9 Australians and 2 Canadians in our group and we all got on well together. All told, a perfect vacation with a splendid itinerary and excellent hotels. This vacation will live long in our memories.
